THANKS!!! I love the smell of this fabric softener liquid recipe. It is heavenly! A little interesting to make the recipe , trying to keep it from foaming, but so worth the effort! No More Dryer Sheets and I love that environmental bonus! THANKS! ~ Ux

I’ve been making this detergent for a while now, but I stopped using the water altogether. I just mix the grated soap, borax, and washing soda in a small canister, then put a tablespoon in each load. the only problem I have with this is that sometimes the soap doesn’t dissolve in the water, and my clothes come out with little chunks of soap on them. So I now use hot water in the laundry at first to dissolve the soap. It works great!

With the washing soda as an ingredient, is this stuff safe for using on silk? The box of Arm&Hammer washing soda I have says NOT to add it to any load with silk in it….

Man that freezer jam looks awfully good. Wish you lived here so I could have some on toast. How did the cheese end up that you were making when we were there? Can’t wait for the book. Miss you guys. Glad Joel is home safe and sound.
