Today we went berry picking! We found a farm about a 1/2 hour away that had both blueberries and raspberries for picking. It only took us a little over an hour to pick our bounty! Now I just have to get them all in the freezer.
We stopped on our way home and had lunch at a little diner and check out a quilt shop that was next door. It was nice to be in the air conditioning for a while after being out in the steamy heat berry picking.
Well, now I am off to make blueberry syrup and raspberry jam. YUM!
